HOW TO FASHION WORKSHOP

The workshop is aimed at independent fashion brands with a focus on Made-in-Italy or European production and includes:

– An introduction to supply chains and production hubs in Italy – from sourcing raw materials to final manufacturing

– Practical tools for product development – creating tech packs and strategies for logistics and operations

– Individual project consultations – group-based analysis of concept, production costs, and possible solutions

Maïa Archive is a product development and consultancy studio working with independent brands and creatives. Founded in 2019 with a focus on fashion production in Northern Italy, its services now span a wide range of crafts – from knitwear, jersey, and wovens to leather, ceramics, and metal accessories.

Maïa Archive’s approach is centered around collaborative development, bringing creative vision and technical expertise together on equal footing. Rather than classic commission-based work, the studio builds close partnerships between designers and producers. Thanks to an extensive network of skilled artisans, manufacturers, and suppliers, Maïa Archive manages the full process from sourcing to production. The studio is also increasingly involved in educational initiatives that aim to raise awareness for sustainable design and textile craftsmanship among emerging creatives.

This HOW TO FASHION workshop marks the start of a three-part series focusing on the central theme of Futureproof Fashion, with an emphasis on materials, sourcing, and production.
