HOW TO FASHION TALK AND PRESEN­TATION

Designer Inga Nemirovskaia launched her new label Lore this year, focusing on locally sourced fibres and traditional craftsmanship. Her debut collection, Alpine Wool, transforms underused Alpine wool into contemporary knitwear, outerwear, and footwear – aiming to build a transparent, high-quality, and regional supply chain model.

Out of this work, Erda Alpine was born – a B2B platform co-founded by Inga Nemirovskaia and Marlot te Kiefte. Erda curates European wool yarns, connects designers with local supply chains, and promotes wool as a sustainable, design-driven alternative to synthetics and imported fibres.

Their shared vision: a European Wool Hub – a collaborative network for exchange, infrastructure, and the textile future of Europe.

As part of HOW TO FASHION, a joint program by the Austrian Fashion Association and the Vienna Business Agency, Inga Nemirovskaia and Marlot te Kiefte present their joint venture and and share valuable insights into the revival of European wool supply chains with a particular focus on practical knowledge transfer for design, sourcing, and sustainable product development.

Their presentation, titled Revaluing European Wool: Connecting Farm to Fashion, offers a hands-on perspective on how local knowledge, design expertise, and entrepreneurial initiative can come together to reimagine sustainable material cycles in Europe.

Following the event and again the next day an exclusive Lore pop-up shop will open, offering pieces from the current winter collection and the chance to pre-order from the upcoming summer line.
