A conversation about placemaking for the representation of all people in fashion and media with Cora Hamilton, they/them, Co-founder & Creative Director and Max Weiland, they/he, Co-founder & C.E.O., model and talent agency uns*.

Cora Hamilton (they/them) is the Co-Founder and Creative Director of uns*. Cora studied Popular Music at Goldsmiths, University of London, before moving to Berlin in 2018. Before co-founding uns*, they were working as a freelance photographer, and they continue to shoot fashion, portraits and events.

Max Weiland (they/he) is a model, speaker and writer. Coming from an artistic and performance background, they discovered modelling in their mid-20s, which lead to a vast exploration of their own gender. Unfortunately, he experienced the fashion and media landscape as an unfriendly place for people who do not correspond to the binary and normative ideal of beauty. With uns*, they want to create safer and fairer working conditions for LGBTQIA+ talent.

uns* is the first LGBTQIA+ model and talent agency in Germany, and was founded in 2020 by British photographer Cora Hamilton (they/them) and German-Polish model Max Weiland (they/he). uns* is a collaborative push towards a future in fashion and media that is so rich in its diversity and representation that every body is seen, celebrated, included and involved.
